Help me decide
I currently have BBK long tubes on my car with a TSP Rumbler that I hacked up and put a FM super 10 in. I don't know if I did this while putting the Flowmaster in, or if this is just the nature of the beast, but I have a good amount of rasp. Here are my options to try and squeak more power/better sound out out of this setup.
1. True duals with fm 10's dumped @ the axle.
2. Weld in a Flowmaster merge with a 3 1/2 inch outlet and run a single exhaust with a fm 10 dumped at the axle.
3. leave the y pipe alone and do the 3 1/2 inch or the 4 inch Mufflex with the Spintech.
4. Pull the tailpipes off and run the current exhaust dumped at the axle.
I am some what leaning towards the Mufflex only because I have a 3y/o that rides in the car often, and I don't think its a good idea to run a dump if he will be riding along. I am open to all suggestions, the car also has a 228R cam.

Run the FM 2.5"/3.5" y-merger into a Mufflex 3.5" exhaust system. You'll gain some power with this as long as you run a high flow muffler.
Another option is to run a magnaflow #12867($93) 3" in/out 5"dia., 14" case muffler right off the bbk y-pipe exit and dumped before the axle tubes just like in the photo, with a J or U bend (#SUMmit-622005)that has been cut in half at the middle of the bend, flipped not quite 170*and rewelded so the exit is only pointed slightly downward. You won't gain any power, but there wont be any drone.

Here's how mine sounded with the Magnaflow dumped, inside the car no drone and it wasn't really loud.
