4L60E Transmission Line and Retatining Clip Installation Just in case you didn't know. Install the retaining clip first. The three points of the clip falls into the corresponding slots on the clip retainer nut. Then push the transmission lines in. You will hear them seat with a click. Then push the plastic retaining clip retainer over the nut/clip. There you have it. Thanks.
