I cross threaded both bolts that go to the evaporator. It's the one that connects to the drier and the one that connects to the metal tube with the orifice tube in it. I'm pretty sure I can feel a leak when the compressor is on. It's either a crack in the tube or a seal.

Can I use a smaller bolt with a nut on the cross threaded ones to get it tighter? And if it's a crack can I patch it somehow?
