Default mac headers with 3 inch x-pipe pics

I used summits 3 inch x-pipe that cost $99.95 and flowmaster header reducer 2 1/2 to 3inch cones that cost $21.88. The mufflers are flowmaster 1 chamber delta force ,the kit was pretty easy to fab. It sounds great and fits very nice. hope this info helps.

Default 3 bolt flanges

sweet set up man. did you consider cutting off the ball flanges on the headers and welding on a 3 bolt flange on the end of them? supposedly they flow alot better that way. just a thought.

That looks much better than the one in the "other post" that is for sale! I like that a lot! I wouldn't mind a system like that if you decided to fab some up and sell them!

My friend is real interested in this exact setup for his 98 Z28.only thing is he has an automatic, and was wondering if there will be fitment issues with the transmission.it looks as if the space between the pipes before the crossover is plenty wide, but im hoping maybe you or someone knows for sure.also did you need to get pieces of pipe to join the x-pipe to the MACs',or are they already angled up and at the right distance for the headers?one more question, what is the part number of that x-pipe?i tried to find it on summits site but only found a mustang piece.thanks for any help you can provide

the part # for the x-pipe is sum-642130 and the part # for the header reducer is
flo-r3025. and you'll need about a foot of 3 inch pipe as well. i just cut the mac y pipe after the flanges so it still angled
