Did you try using the search feature for this question? It has been asked a lot. Just for future reference try it first.
Short answer is no, it won't throw a code for just descreening it, unless you mess up.

That's fine, I try not to be a jerk about it, and I know sometimes the sites search feature isn't the greatest. Most of the time it's easier to just do a google search with what you want to know and add ls1tech to it, i.e. google "descreeen maf codes ls1tech" or something like that for whatever you want to know. It's useful for keeping a bunch of really general questions that have already been asked from being repeated.
Also, check out the stickies at the top of each section of the forums since you're new. There is a lot of information in them already including guidelines and suggestions for new members.

I took mine out and the car ran a little lean picked up a used one with a screen for 30 bucks now its back to normal .there was no power gain by taking it out . So not worth it. Didn't pop a code to answer your question.
