Default Not enough fuel pressure, help.

Car was running run, just quit. Can get it to run but barely. Checked fuel pressure at rail. The pump DOES run, but when it primes it only goes to 10psi then falls right back off.

Jumped the relay and pump will run continuously but only builds 20psi. Checked fuel filter and it seems fine and fuel is clean that was in it.
Could the pump be bad even though its running or should I be looking somewhere else.

If it matters I was having a low voltage issue I suspect is the alternator.

I might check the voltage at the batt, while the engine is running...then, if voltage is 'normal', check voltage at the pump/as close to the pump as you can get.
If all checks out, the pump might be going.
How many miles are on the pump?

Turns out I had 2 different problems. When previous owner put a walbro pump in they used the wrong kind of hose, it had deteriorated and had a hole in it. Fuel pressure issue solved. Turns out Alternator is bad too
