What makes one set of longtubes different/better than another?

What makes one set of longtubes different/better than another?
Just curious. Thinking of doing true duals, but if I did that, then pretty much everything else has to go and I dont think I could sell the remaining parts without the headers. So I was even thinking of just selling the whole kit and just buying a set of longtubes and then having the true duals done. If I was to do this, what headers should I go with? Im looking for the best fitment, clearance, quality, durabilty, performance, etc. What do you guys think? Thanks.

Consensus is that the best for fitment, clearance, quality would be either a QTP, Kooks, maybe FLP.
But they are expensive $700 and up for the headers. The QTP and Kooks are stainless steel.
Lots of peiple will way the the cheaper ones are just as good. I dunno. I always believe you get what you pay for

I was going with a stainless steel header regardless, so we've got that established, but really doesnt tell me what makes one better than another. I believe my FLPs are 1 3/4...do they make full 1 7/8 headers or just stepped to that size? Is there any improvement in performance, flow, hp/tq, etc. going from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8?

not considering the clearance issues with SLP headers, what do you guys think about their 409 stainless tubing with cereamic coating ( I know it is not as good as 304 stainless)?
