Default Powerband comparison between ls1 and ls6 intake?

Right now we have the stock ls1 intake and full exhaust. It seems like the motor stop pulling after 5k.....we're installing the ls6 intake sunday and I was wondering if the ls6 has a larger powerband (more power on the top)???
Thanks

I'm sure it does, but if you're not pulling hard all the
way to redline you may have to look at the exhaust,
the preceding intake tract, cam and the fuel/spark
situation to get the most out of it.

Falling down at 5K seems abnormally short. A logging
session may be in order.

Probably, but your exhaust may be an issue. I have headers and SLP 2OTL catback, and my ls1 intake didn't keep the motor from pulling hard past 6k.

Put it on a dyno if you really want to know.

It should feel strong well past 5k.

If it is indeed falling on its face after 5K you have issues.

Never mind, after a few runs it feels a lot better on the top end now, for some reason I thought it didnt, but I didnt get on it that much to test it out fully. But I am gonna put it on a dyno and see what it does. Thanks
