Default Kooks Cats.

Anyone know where I could order just the cats for a y pipe? I need the smaller ones and not the 11'' ones off of ebay. I have searched but no luck. Dont have to be kooks can be any kind but need them to work on a y pipe so need them relatively small. Thanks!

If I were you I'd be looking for a "generic" high flow
cat from an established manufacturer, and stainless
flanges (6 per branch) and have someone fab the
flanged cats, flanged Y segments and flanged "test
pipes" all at once so it hangs nice on the car, and
cats can be replaced when needed or swapped to
pipes, as suits you.

I just replaced the cats on my Kooks Y pipe, I ended up calling them directly to order the parts. I couldnt find it listed on their website. If you need the p/n, just pm me and I can find them.

State Inspectors are wise to gutted cats... All they do is aim a laser thermometer at them and they know.

I have the SLP cats and they are very compact. Paid about 300 for both from WS6Store.

Looking around the site before I bought my cats, everyone seemed to have good things to say about the magnaflow cats, metallic. Not so much the ceramics. I had mine welded into a BBK y pipe and they got rid of the gas odor. I don't have emissions testing and my rear O2s are tuned out, so can't tell you if id pass that. The cats I got run about 115 each with most vendors but Isearched and found em for 65 each.
