fires up and dies imediatly then runs perfect 2nd time cranking

LS1 camaro, put key in the ignition and crank it, car fires right up then shuts off, turn key again car fires right up and runs great. This happens every single time car is started. any ideas?

Have you checked fuel pressure?

Check fuel pressure. Or cycle the key a few times before trying to start.
