Default Fast 90/90 MAF?

What MAF are you guys running with a fast 90-92 setup? Any problems I may run into. I know I can go with an SD tune, but want to run the MAF for now.

Yeah, I did some research. Trying to see if there are and cheaper options. I bought the 90/90 without thinking about the MAF and now Im going to have to spend a couple hundred more that I dont want to at this time.

I'm using the stocker with a SaxonPC MAF screen.

I do however have a custom 85mm I'm building that uses an LS3/7 Card MAF, but still with a Saxon screen in the front for good smooth readings. I plan on dyno testing it on the 12th

I would go SLP 85mm MAF for one of those cars. You don't have a ton of mods, I wouldn't expect you to need larger.

i run a FTP 98mm lid, GM 85mm maf i got of a 03' Z06 and a fast 92/92 setup. i ran the SLP one before that and hated it. could never get the idle dialed in and high rpm pulls were unstable and erratic. do not get the SLP version.

there is nothing wrong with the stock maf though as i know a bunch of people that run H/C/I with stock maf.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but negative about the SLP one.

I assumed with the bigger inlet that I would need a bigger MAF...

Remember the SLP 85mm MAF has a resistor soldered inline that allows it to be plug and play, no tuning required, to work. That's why they are pretty much untunable.

Here's my 92/92 combo with a stock MAF
