Default Ls6 intake swap oil press gauge

I know I know yet another oil pressure gauge thread. I know its not a huge issue because its prone to happen in F bodies, but I just wanna know why? I swapped my ls1 intake last night to an ls6 and after that the gauge just pegged out.

Just figured id ask why

You broke the oil pressure sending unit. There is a hose from the back of the intake manifold to the brake booster that goes behind the oil pressure sending unit. When you pulled the manifold forward the hose gets stuck on the plastic sending unit and snap.

Hmmm I took the line off the brake booster and fed it through to where all of the hose was behind the intake when I pulled it off but I will definately check again!

They seem pretty fragile as is, although I have never broken one on my own car, I have seen alot of them break in person without much effort. If you arent able to get ahold of one locally, feel free to give us a call, we can have one out pretty quick...
