Default LS6 Intake..how to fix

I just noticed that my LS6 intake (came with the car when I bought it - uninstalled) has a small chunk of plastic that is missing right beside the gasket for the throttle body. Not sure if it's a big deal, but I'm picturing that it will cause a vacuum leak and possible allow debris directly into the engine.

How do I fix this?

is that chunk just missing on the inside of the intake bore?
or is it on the outside also?

im gonna say if its just on the inside, i wouldnt even try to repair
it for fear that a piece of the "repair" would break off and get sucked
in...id leave it, and run it, the torque from the throttlebody should smash
that gasket enough to seal.

Yep, just on the inside of the intake. The outside is intact

Yeah, I figured that it should still seal up pretty good. I was also concerned about the repair flaking off and getting sucked inside. Maybe better just to not mess with it and just install as is!

Thanks.

Installed it a few weeks ago, even after breaking one intake manifold bolt and re-using gaskets (GM dealer wanted $172/set!!) I have no vacuum leaks or other issues! I did break the opsu which sucked, but I got the intake for free with the car so you win some you lose some. Noticeable difference, especially with the larger 98 cam and long tube headers.
