Intake options .. truck to Victor Jr w/elbow I have been looking to change the intake on my 5.3 from the truck to another.. mostly for looks, but if im going through the hassle, I may as well go with a setup I can either grow into, or make some more power.
LS1 intakes can be had cheap (but not that I can find), that would probably be the cheapest route, but keep in mind I have truck accessories, so its a real pain.
LS6 Intakes are more expensive and still give me the same tb clearance issues.
Any Fast intake is out of the question as they are too much money for what I would need one for.
I was looking.. I can get an EFI Victor Jr intake reasonably priced, and then put an elbow on top.. it would look good, clear my hood fine, and clear all of my accessories.
My setup is in my signature.. what do you think? Overkill? not worth the time?
