The only performance mods that i have done to the car are pacesetter 1 3/4in long tubes with a 3in off road x-pipe and a slp lid. I have plans for a tsunami cam and prc 215 heads. I was just curious if i needed a tune to drive it and not blow a hole through the piston.

Alright thanks, I was just curious if i should just wait and do the heads and cam and just tune it all at once but, the heads and cam wont be until a couple months.

i put my FAST 92/92 on with longtubes ORY and SLP LM1 with no tune, but after the intake install the car felt sluggish anything under 2500 RPM's. so i would recommend it, unless you are gonna do heads and cam within the next few months.

Ok cool. Its still not my daily driver yet. I just dont want to run it to lean. Just wondering..would you happen to know why the maf and o2 sensors wont adjust to that much air without a tune? I really dont know a whole lot about it and just trying to learn about how they work.

Computer can compensate up to 25% in either direction for fuel. You're fine, though you will be relying on your 02s for the computers decision. An excellent base tune will run good whether o2s are there or not. So a tune is smart for long term but not needed immediately.
