Default quick coil ?

Quick ? Can I use any other year coil pack or do I have to use the year I have 98 camaro ls1 thanks in advance

Check out the description below, in the ad...says that 97-04 Vette, & 98-03 Camaro are compatible.

You might want to confirm that the coils are the same...97-98 bolt to the valve cover. 99+ bolt to a bracket that's on the cover.

The coils were the same mounting even for the perimeter bolt headed cars...just the cover and brackets changed!

For those you will have to have the coils, brackets, and harness and to my knowledge the brackets won't bolt to your valve covers. There are 2 different kinds of them as well, square ones and the more desirable cylinder shaped ones with heat sinks on them which are "hotter".

I would just replace the bad coil and worry about swapping when you put better heads on the car that require you to go to the bracket mounted coils anyway. If you are looking for a power gain, there will be none however some people report slightly better throttle response and idle but on other cars there is no difference.
