Default LS1 Oil pan options

Hi all I have a LS1 swaped into a 1972 240z. Im having issues with the oil pan to ground clearance. I looked up some specs on other pans. My current pan is the rear sump Camaro pan. Which is 5.62" deep at the lowest point. I found the LS2/LS3 C6 pan is 4.85" deep at the lowest point. Id gain almost an ince of ground clearance! Not much but it would help get my pan about even with my front crossmember. With lil modification of the mounts I could be safe and sound. My question is. Can i use this pan with the ls1? The gasket is the same part number but my worry is the pickup tube. Will this bolt to the right spot? Thanks any help would be great!

All the LS and truck pans will bolt to any LS motor. You'll need the pickup that goes with the pan and sometimes the windage tray and dipstick/tube as well.

Jim, The Corvette C6 Low profile oil pan will bolt up to your LS1 and we do have that item in stock ready to ship if needed. We also can get you the matching C6 oil pump pickup so you do not have to worry about oil starvation problems.
