I did the Kooks, no coating, but I did it with the catted-y. Went through Matt @ TTP, and it ended up being about $1300 to my door with everything I needed to do the install myself. Great service, and couldn't be happier.

No fitment issues, no banging, no problems whatsoever with the install. Easy access to the oil filter, plug, and everything else in between.

That's if you're in the market for that stuff. I plan on getting the QTPs with their cat'ed ypipe, but I was just wondering if I was missing something.

Glad you like 'em!
As mentioned earlier, TTP gives good deals on Kooks. I picked my Kooks up from More Perf. on a GP. The QTPs are also excellent...I believe the Kooks and QTPs are basically the same design (Grots).

Got a set of Kooks s/s headers and catted y-pipe directly from kooks. No fitment issues, all top of the line quality. Best header on the market. IMO. QTP has a close second. Good luck...

Hey Eight Ball!

I keep Kooks on the shelf! Kooks in my opinion are the best quality header out there in the LS1 market. Each header is hand made, & not only looks good but makes great power.E-mail or PM me for a price you can't refuse!

I love my Kooks. I practically stole them at $1050 total for the whole kit. 1 3/4 Stainless Headers ORY, Band clamps, extensions & stage 8 bolts.

I debate this too but went with Kooks cause the price was awsome.

We have a batch finishing up this week so we will have stock on our headers next week. So for the ones that have been patient with us, your orders are shipping out a week behind schedule.
Thanks
