Default LSX intake again

I have a problem and I can use the help of anyone who has installed an LSX intake. The instructionns say to seperate the pieces of the intake and check the gasket. I cannot get the pieces of the intake seperated. Can I still install the intake without any problems?

Mine was a pain in the ***!! Don't pry at the access areas - I chipped mine - they're too thin!
You can gently, with even pressure, get it to separate by placing a screwdriver in the areas where there are pillars, pods or increased thickness. It doesn't chip if you pry in reinforced areas.
FAST seals/lutes the o-ring in place with silicone and the excess is holding the two pieces together. Hope this helps some.

I wouldn't bother even separating it, if you do separate it then be prepared to use some gasket sealer to seal up some little spots. Anyways mine wasn't that hard - I removed 'all' the bolts and simply pulled up on the mouth where the TB mounts.

I don't know. The cost of the intake put a big hole in my wallet.

Unless you need to get inside it...I don't recommend pulling them apart. They had sealant on the upper rope seal. PITA to scrape all the excess off and reassemble
