Default Just a quick balancer question

I was installing mine, and when it "bottomed out" i suppose, it didnt go any further, but looking at it, it doesnt seem like its all the way in, this is my first LS build so i want to double check to make sure its seated all the way.

thanks.

You really can't tell... Install the bolt and torque it.

No i cant, in the second picture, the gap from the balancer to the crank snout is making me second guess, my old small block was flush, just wanted to clear the air before i proceeded.

according to GM this gap should be between 0.094 inches and 0.176 inches

The stock balancer, I know it doesn't sit flush with the snout.

take a look from the side of the motor, see if it looks like it lines up with the other acessories...
then use the stock bolt and torque it as far as you can to seat the pulley fully

then put in your new bolt, torque to 38ft lbs... and then stretch to 140* (which is a whole hell of a lot of force to get there)
