Dual speed fans?

Dual speed fans? Do we have dual speed fans? I dont think we do, but my GFs fans are acting strange. Sometimes they are on high speed and sometimes they are on, but at a low speed..... I think both motors are going.

Well on my 02 they work like this. ( have 160 thermo ) At 184 one fan comes on at low speed. At 194 both fans are on at high speed. When A/C is on both fans run at low speed. The fans run on 6 volts and on 12 volts. Yes they are two speed fans.

LOL.... Thanks! Thats EXACTLY how hers works and its a 02. Ive guess Ive just never noticed it before.
Anyone else?
