Default 102 TB clearance issues

I purchased a Ebay TB and the IAC hole does not match up with my sensor. I am returning that and probably going to pick up a Nick Williams TB. I was reading and saw some clearance issues with the water pump and other items that can affect the 102TB install. Is this common or is it only certain years? I am using a PP 96mm intake. Would I be better off with the NW 95mm TB then for it? Would there still be clearance issues with the 95mm TB? I was just hopping for a direct bolt on without issues. I really dont want to deal with grinding down my water pump pully..

You dont grind down the pulley, you grind down the actual housing itself

If you dont want to grind you can also replace the water pump for like $120. Dont know if it is for all, but definitely for a NW on a fast 102...its not much interference, your combo could be ok or worse I dont know anything about that pp intake.

an LS2 water pump will clear a 102 throttle body, as the housing is pressed together, vise bolted together on the LS1 type water pump.

As far as I know. Either way it literally takes 5 minutes to do

Some of the later F-body's have the newer style water pump. Grinding may not be required.

What? What later F-bodies? My '02 rubbed... was there a later F-body?

And Scoggin Dickey is running a special right now, $110 shipped I believe. Check the Sponsor Sales section.

Mine was the newer type water pump that has the 2 piece thermostat/housing.

54Kmile 2002 Camaro SS.

Couldn't resist....Yes there is a 2010, 2011, 2012 and a 2013 F-body.

Well look at that... I just searched and found the new Camaros apparently DO have an F in the vin. I learned something today and stand corrected

But really on the new style pump? I'd never seen that before, but it's not like I look at the water pumps when I look at an engine... Really, though?

That's actually my pic of my water pump up there... Here are a couple of others that may help. These are actually new LS1 water pumps, not LS2 as I previously thought. The difference is the length of the snout on front.

Her are some pics from the same angles and the rear...see, no bolt hole to grind down.

Well I have the older style water pump but did not have to clearance anything for the 102 TB. It bolted right on without issue.
