Default Oil pan warped

Has anyone resurfaced an LS1 Camaro oil pan? The front area is warped .014 and the rear is .004". Both side rails are flat. I don't need this thing to leak.

Might be best to just replace it with a high capacity aftermarket pan.

thats not alot, the .004 is nothing, the 14 should pull back, the pans not that tall there. If it was the rear its more ridged there, and the rear bolts suck for tiring to tq alot.

I've fixed .025 and .035 pans and covers. didnt spend the time to set them up in the mill. Just by hand with a big long block sander, 3x10 or 4x12, so you can keep it flat across a corner and get down the side rail, and not have it tip. Good norton/3m metal emery, wet/dry, with soaping water flow to keep the alum dust out. 60-80 cut thu it fast, finish with less, 120,220.. then scotch bright will look mint. It will get messy, and wet, heads up.

Default Autobody skills

Thanks for the reply. Good thing I have some body skills. Good fix. Maybe a guide coat also.

Thanks
