Default Please Critique and Offer Any Suggestions On the Following Combo:

Hi folks, I'm interested in hearing any opinions and thoughts on the following combo:

First, it would have to be CA smog legal (outside of exhaust since that is not terribly difficult to swap).

05-06 GTO 6.0L LS2 shortblock (stock)
05-06 GTO LS2/LS6 243 heads (stock)
LS6 Intake with the TPIS 90mm mod
05-06 GTO 90mm TB
TR224 Cam -224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA (yes, must be smog legal)
Underdrive Pulley
1 3/4" Longtubes
3" Dual Exhaust
Dyno tune

Of course the springs and pushrods would be upgraded but everything else in the valvetrain would remain stock.

Are there any gains at this point from upgrading the 05-06 GTO fuel pump/injectors/MAF?

And with the mods noted above is 410-420rwhp SAE a reasonable estimate?

Lastly, if it were your daily driver and you needed it to pass smog and be tame enough for a wife to drive (no surging or bucking around parking lots), would you change anything?

Stock injectors should be fine. Honestly, I'd save the money and keep the LS6 intake stock. Second, I'd choose a TSP 224r cam instead of the TR224.

I'd mill the heads enough to get the compression up to 11.0:1 .

I would do the AI 226 port on the heads and run the stock cam myself, with ported ls6 and TB, 1 7/8 headers. would make about the same power as stock heads and a small cam and obviously drive like stock. Maybe find a set of SLP 1.85 rockers to put on there for another few hp
