Borla adj. cat-back replacement muffler?
When I wrecked my car a the muffler on my Borla adjustable cat-back got ripped open. All the piping and tips are fine. Is there anyway I can get a replacement muffler?

Looking at a picture of the system the muffler just looks like a regular single in single out. So I guess all I really need to do is get the demensions of the muffler and order one like that.

The replacement muffler that comes with the system has the driver side tailpipe and exhaust hanger attached to it and is a little pricey. After talking with the Borla rep., who was very helpful by the way, I've decided to replace it with a XR-1 bullet muffler.

Yeah Borla stuff is expensive to replace unfortunately. My car came with the adjustable catback but the dealership didn't have the plates. I contacted Borla and they wanted $70 to ship be replacement plates. I didn't bother with it obviously.

Same here, at first I wasn't sure what plate the owner had installed, it didn't sound noticeably louder so I assumed it had a restricted plate, after the headers and ORY though the right side is definitely louder than the left so I'm pretty sure it has the open plate

I made my own plates out of an old license plate. Any thin aluminum would work and it definitely helps keep the rumble down on long trips. I have heard of some people installing a cutout there to be able to open and close it at will.
