Default DIY Idler pulley relocation ?

I'm installing an LS6 intake onto a LM7 out of a silverado, and I need to relocate the idler pulley. I found the one sold by Dirty Dingo, and it looks like it just uses one of the existing bolt holes on the accessory bracket.

Could I get away with just buying a spacer/bolt sleeve from the hardware store (to get the proper alignment for the belt) and mount the pulley onto that? The picture shows the pulley relocated with the bracket kit.
