tr5 plug install straight out of box?

Default tr5 plug install straight out of box?

i am putting new plugs in and was wondering if i can just put them in straight out of the box. should the gap be good on them since they are pregapped? they are ngk tr5's.

No matter what you always recheck the gap on spark plugs. If they were bumped before packaging they can be off. I have never once skipped checking plug gap on customers or my cars. It only takes a few seconds to check.

I agree. Never know.

Ngk's for me have always been almost spot on. Other brands not so much. I just installed tr6's in my 355 and they were all on .035. I opened them up to .040. We'll see how that goes.

should i just leave mine gapped at .035 or go to more?
