Default Oil Pressure..quick ?

so i recently replaced my bad cam sensor and like many, broke my oil pressure sending unit in the process..replaced the sending unit but could not tighten it fully, instead i used teflon and tightened it up abit... the car is running fine, except for my oil pressure guage is acting alittle abnormal.....it never goes over 60 and sometimes goes a little under 40 about 35....dont know if its just the sending unit thats causing the low reading or if im actually losing oil pressure....thnks for any insight

sounds about right for a stock oil pump. pressure looks good, don't know what the problem is.

do you have acess to a gen 3 oil pressure tester? it goes where the oil filter would be and with a gauge attached give you you mechanical oil pressure reading. but seeing you just replaced check the connectors and resistance
