Default Best shop for porting a fast 92mm intake

Hey guys, other than tony mamo, what's the best shop to send my new fast 92 to for a port job? There's no way I'm paying someone $500 to port my intake but at the same time I feel like it would be foolish not to have it ported before I put it on since I'm trying to get all I can out of my combo. Peak speed? Vengeance? Can anybody give me some guidance. I won't spend more than $250 to get it done.

Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone that ports them for $250. Usually going to be around the $500-$700 range.

IIRC, it seems like the last time I talked to Ron@ Vengeance he said that they didn't port them unless you buy it from them. I may be wrong though.

I haven't seen Peaks work, so I can't judge. I have seen a Vengeance 102 side by side with a stock 102, far from impressed. I would go with Mamo

Default Peak Speed Shop porting

We would be glad to port your FAST 92 for you. We charge $250 plus return shipping (generally $20-25 to most US locations). For those who aren't familiar with our work, here are a few pics of a FAST 102 (process and cost is the same).

Porting intakes is our primary business and we have a good reputation for quality work.

Here are comments from a few customers:
“I got my intake yesterday and it looks great. You did a great job on the runners and inlet of the intake. Thanks Bob!”
James - Upland, CA (FAST 92 Intake Manifold ported)

“Sorry not to reply sooner … and tell you how awesome it all turned out....you did a fantastic job!!!”
Jim - Piedmont, OK (Ported FAST 92 Intake Manifold, and throttle body; Powder coated Intake Manifold and fuel rails Mirror Red; Painted Throttle Body Gloss Black)

"I purchased a ported 102 intake from Peak performance. They have flawless customer service that made the install very smooth. They are competitively priced and shipping is quick. This is a super bolt on mod that really wakes up the LS2 motor. It isn't a bad idea to send them your throttle body to port when you have everything apart. "
Carl- Williamsport, PA (FAST102 ported and Throttle Body ported for LS2)

“Just got my ported 102 on my car this weekend. Wow can definitely feel a power increase. Great work Peak Speed! And thanks for the fast turn around.”
Cory – Osceola, WI (FAST102 and LS2 throttle body ported)

To order, you can call us at 719-651-1952 or go to our online store at: http://peakspeedshop.com/Zen_Cart/

Peak speed says 8-10 rwhp I believe. I think that's the way I'm gonna go. Nothin negative seen or heard about them so far. It just hurts spending another $275 with shipping after spending over a grand on the intake and a nw tb. But, I'm going for max effort so gotta pay to play I guess.

Patience and a day in your garage with a dremel. I had never done it and mine turned out great. I even port matched it to my heads which was a bit harder but since it was already off why not. It's not hard at all just a bit time consuming.

I just zoomed in on the intake port pic and your right, they put a blurred line in there that you only see if you expand the picture. That's right where the ridge is from the factory. My initial thought was that, that ridge was removed during their porting process. I'm guessing now that it isn't removed? What's up? You guys that have ported them yourselves, do you guys remove that ridge completely?
