Blocking off Water Pump Hoses

So I have a Meziere Street Electric Water Pump and just removed my HVAC system. Can I just block off the two ports on the side or do I have to run a hose and just loop it?

The pump should have come with the plugs from Meziere allready installed. if you didn't save them you can order new ones.

But yes block the hoses off, NO LOOP.
