Default Oil from cam shaft position sensor

I unplugged the cam shaft position sensor and in the plug in area it was full of oil. Is this something of a concern and issues of long term problems

Replace it, if the oil is coming up through the sensor and also clean out the wire harness end with contact cleaner. If you not sure the origin of the leak look for it while you clean up all the leaked oil. If you didn't find the leak organ the you need to start the car for a few minutes and check for it again.
