Under drive pulley do not use stock belts. The whole point of the udp is to shorten the distance of belts to save power. Just get a 25% udp and some new belts, cheap and easy

I'm pretty sure you can use the bbk pulley with a stick belt because it also comes with an alternator overdrive pulley to compensate. Ws6 store has them in stock usually.

When you bump up the idle speed to 800 the alt pulley is not needed.

After the cam swap the idle will probably be that anyway

I do not know ^^^^^,as I run the stock altemater pulley with my UDP but if it does work, you would still need a new/differant size belt for the AC unless you can stand the summer weather without AC

who would want to raise their idle to that? not only would you need a tune to do it but hen it would want to push through the brakes if the op has an auto. most people dont have issues with the underdrives especially if they have an 6 but if so just go with the overdrive alt. and to the op's post idk of any pulleys that can use the stock belts but then again I dont know the size for an overdrive alt pulley

Because he's doing a cam swap and he'll end up bumping up the idle speed anyway. If I remember right mines up about 750-800. I'm running an under drive on my auto and haven't had a problem with the stock alt pulley.

I don't know about the bbk but my asp uses a shorter belt. Op shoot me a message. I have an a/c belt somewhere for an under drive. I ended up ditching my a/c shortly after putting the pulley on.

An A4 cammed will need a stall between the two hes's at
@ 800 anyway It's going to get tuned so do it all at once the pulley
is coming off to do the cam.

I found that the recomended size belt was too big anyway with a cam and stall it would rev so fast in first it would toss the belt. I put one on so short that with the tensioner all the way over it would barely slide under the water
pump. With all the loads on lights, wipers, A\C full blast 800rpm put me at 13.7 volts Last thing you need is to get stuck in traffic and get stuck.
