Guys,

There is still some confusion over the passenger cover, this is a response I received from SDPC this morning regarding what I though (and was told by a local dealership) was the correct PN. I hope that someone will eventually clear up this problem cause I cant figure it out.

-------------------------------
Andy,
GM p/n 12570428 is the first number you received per invoice #XXXXXXX. GM p/n 12561819 was received on the second time around, and both p/n are the exact same cover. I have no idea what the problem could be unless someone added a EGR bung to that valve cover. I have compared both covers side to side, but no difference. Let me know what we need to do.

Thanks

ok,

Here's another update from SDPC:

From looking at the parts catalog it shows that you should have the pvc provisions (of course). 99-01 12561819, and 02-02 is 12561818, and you already have both of them. I called GM and both part numbers supercede into 12570428. I am clueless? I asked the shop foreman, and he suggested to just "T" the two into one. Let me know.
