Default LS6 versus LS1 throttlebody

Is there a difference? I think the part where the cable attaches is different. Is there any other differences that would keep me from putting a LS1 throttlebody on the LS6 intake?

The '01/'02 TB has a larger throttle cam but
bolts right up otherwise. May also find some
differences in the coolant line and PCV nipples,
the PCV can be pulled out carefully and swapped
while the coolant nipples are too small and tight,
you would just have to adapt hose. Or cut them
clean off, like I did, and bypass. I have an LS1
truck TB core, home-ported on my '02 with my
stock shaft swapped in.

Now, the LS6 'Vettes have a drive by wire TB
that is nohow compatible with an F-Body. But
I have seen several racing 'Vettes that have gone
the other way (LS-1 TB onto a late model 'Vette)
for simplicity/reliability's sake I guess.

thanks thats what I was afraid of. I already have the coolant bypassed so no biggie there. I may need to find a LS1 tb to put in its place.
