Default Exhaust opinions on my WS6

Good day everyone. My cats have gone bad and the shop I went to has quoted the replacements and labor to be at $840 which seems a bit high to me. I figure since I need to get these replaced I might as well look into upgrading the exhaust all together. I have the SLP LM1 already installed and I was looking for opinions on what to do next. I would like to keep the car legal so any suggestions saying I should remove the cats probably won't go for me.

Thanks.

It says for parts and labor to replace the cats. They are expensive, you can probably get generic ones welded in for less though.

Do you have headers and a y pipe with the cats? Or the stock setup still?

Your LM catback is fine... I would save cash and just replace the cats with high flows or generic... But not at the shop you mentioned!

For 840 you could almost have headers, y, and cats all new installed at some places.

buy some tsp headers and a catted y pipe along with poly motor mounts and find a performance shop to install it . Where are you located?

A couple of high flowing cats can range from 2-400$..All they have to do is make a quick cut a weld..****, maybe 150$ for labor. Get another quote. I bought my duals for 550$ and had them installed for 250$..which included running them under the axle out the back with tips.
