Default drilling into the block?

I'm switching from an aluminum 5.7L to a 6.0 iron block. Someone said I will have to leave a bracket off and drill and tap one place in my block. Does anyone have pics of this? Or someone that can explain the steps in more detail

there's a write up in the conversions forum for an iron 6.0 low alternator bracket with pics.
