Question Anybody See A Power Difference When Using A Ws6 Airbox Over The Factory Trans Am One?

Hi, I Have A 98 Trans Am With A Ram Air Hood And I Was Looking For Ways To Increase The Airflow Into The Engine. We Have A White Ws6 At Work That Is A Dealer Trade In And When I Looked At The Engine I Noticed That The Lower Section Of The Airbox Sat About An Inch Or So Higher Than The One On My Trans Am Does. Now My Question Is This. Has Anyone Put On Of Those Ws6 Airboxes On A Non Ws6 Car, And If So Did You Notice Any Gains? My Car Already Has A Whisper Air Lid With A K&n Filter. Thanks In Advance,
Paul Moore

I run one with my GM WS6 hood.

Putting one on a car without a ram air hood sometimes requires "massaging".

The WS6 airbox may help a tiny bit--but every little bit helps

Have you debaffled the nostrils in the hood? That will get the air flowing if you haven't already. Force feeding that baby works well too!

GM WS6 hood both baffles out and a WS6 lower is a great setup for fresh air.
