starting issue help.
Today I drove car to collage and everything was perfect. 12 hours later i was done with my classes, i started the car up and everything is fine. switched the AC on and let it sit to warm..1 min later car shut down and it wont start again. I noticed that fuel pump noise is not there! also, no fuel is coming through the rails! car had half a tank and the guage is working perfectly. all fuses are intact, i forgot to check for spark. any ideas what could be wrong?? i left the car at collage and would like to get some opninons before i waste money and time taking it to a garage. could it be the crank sensor? or did the fuel pump just die? is that even possible? lol
mods in sig..car drove perfect with the mods for more than a year now. no issues and never cut me off. any ideas? please help. thanks.

I had bad corrosion on my battery terminals, cleaned then and they were fine for a few weeks. Same problems showed up again and the corrosion was also on the positive cable to the alternator which i didn't notice before. But yeah, it idled fine, then bogged, then just shut off. no fuel/spark. Hopefully this helps.

if its a battery connection wouldnt it not even crank?
I thought so too but how to tell which one? am guessing a bad ground or something
did it crank fine and still bog with no fuel and spark? how can it crank fine and not have the fuel pump priming due to battery connection?
thanks for the replies everyone.

When mine had a corroded battery terminal, it would crank but never turn over. The fuel pump was working, but their was no spark and the ECM would not fire the injectors. When the terminal connector was replaced, it fired right up.
