Default Catalytic Converter Woe

I hit something on the road which dented one of my cats. It's not cracked or leaking, just dented in (it's an LSxtreme catted y-pipe....yes i know). I plan on just having an aftermarket cat welded in.

Any recommendations on a good hi flow aftermarket cat?

Also, I assume it's ok to mix and match the cats like that...assuming they are both "high flow" cats. Or do you recommend I just get a new y-pipe.

With no emissions testing here i really have not put much effort into researching them, but the magnaflow name gets tossed around quite frequently.

I have a catted y-pipe from Texas Speed. Ended up going around a tight turn on the highway and coming up on a huge rock in the middle of the road that damaged one of my cats. Called Texas speed and they hooked me up with another one. You might wanna give them a call and see how much it would be to ship you a cat.
