Default Wiring Harness

I just purchased my first project, a 98 camaro roller. I am kind of new to this, so forgive any stupidity but I have a couple questions. I plan on putting an lq4 with a turbo and a th400 in the car. I am wondering what wiring harness I need to get to keep the factory gauges working in the car. Do I need the truck harness/ecm or a 99-02 harness/ecm, or does it matter. Also, if anybody knows where I can get one, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does the car not come with a computer and harness? Preferably get a 99+ fbody computer and harness that matches the transmission that you want. If you have a 98 computer and harness that can work as well or you can update the computer to a 99+ f body model and re-pin the 98 wiring harness to work.

Have the computer but no engine harness. Bought it as a roller, and somebody pulled all that out. Doing a th400 trans so I don't need any harness for the trans. I can just do a 99+ camaro harness and computer though?

Yeah & you can sell the stock 98 computer to offset some of the cost.
