Default !AIR, what to do?

When I remove all the AIR junk on my ride what do I need to do. I'm going to disable the SES code with my HPTuner so thats covered. How about the vacuum lines, can I just plug them up or should they still be connected in some configuration??

I didn't think disabling the AIR system throws a code. I thought it was only the EGR system?

You get a cleaner engine bay, that's about it. You only save like 15 lbs.

I have a 2002 with no EGR, removing the AIR still threw a code. I also plugged the one little line that is left over.

yeah its behind and below the drivers head light. Its easy to pull just start with the pump and pull all the wires. I also had to plug the vacuum line that was left over by the rear of the intake.

Only?! I've laid awake nights trying to figure out ways to save even just 2 pounds off the nose without sacrificing too much!
If it's (ie: EGR and AIR combined) really that much weight total then I might just do it as well.

The air pump is there to help with the cats heating up or some crap like that. If you still have cats, don't remove the pump.

Well, my air pump died, so I'm just gonna take it off rather than spend $200 on a new pump. Gonna pull the EGR off as well cause I'm gonna run L/T's and no cats soon anyway.

You need a block off plate.

I'm gonna switch to the LS6 intake manifold, which doesn't have the EGR hole.
