Loumouth 1 and Hooker Aerochamber Together
So I bought an 02 z28 with bolts ons MS3 cam. For exhaust it has headers into off road y and then Loudmouth 1 but it ended before the axle. I picked up a Hooker Aerochamber catback locally that was missing the I pipe and one bend. I just put it all together with both "mufflers" and some bends I had around. Before the car was obnoxiously loud but now it is too quiet for me at idle.
My question is, would it be much louder without the loudmouth 1? I found a pipe that I can put in place of it but would it even be worth the effort? I'm assuming you guys hate working on exhaust as much as I do so you understand my dilemma.
Thanks,
Trevor

The Loudmouth is on of the louder mufflers made for our cars. The Hooker is usually quieter and more throaty. Twice the mufflers equals half the volume. If you want louder you can always get a cutout.

Thanks guys, I am going to add an e-cutout in a little while for OC Cruisin' Week so I will just wait until then to remove the LM1.
I don't know why but I think it will be funny when someone asks me what exhaust I have and I can tell them SLP Loudmouth. They will wonder why it doesn't sound like complete trash. I had that **** on a bolt on car and it was still miserable.

I just looked at the pic of the LM1 and it hit me that I must have a LM2 because it is not hollow like that it has perforated metal inside of it.
Would a LM2 make a big difference in sound? I mean it is really quiet, I had a SS with 243 heads and Torquer V2 cam with Magnaflow, LTs, and ORY and it was quite a bit louder than this thing.

I took the LM2 out today and god damn it sounds good. I always thought that the mustangs I owned in the past sounded much better than f-body's but this car sounds great.
Thanks a lot and you guys were certainly right.
