Default pacesetter ory VS tsp ory

a friend of mine is looking to get rid of the rasp from her exhaust. She as of the moment has pacesetter LTs pacesetter ory and slp lm 1. She IS. Taking the lm1 off. I suggested the tsp ory with the magnaflow 4in dual tips. Has anyon done this or know someone who has done this? Maybe see if it has any rasp? Aaaand if that tsp ory with the upgraded merge actualy makes any difference?

I think the general consensus is that mostly all y-pipes will rasp especially with a lm1. True duals are probably the best bet in getting rid of it, although the gmmg catback along with some other things helps. There's a few threads on this shbject

My ARH helped with rasp and has a very nice merge. Imo the tsp ory isn't that great.

I have TSP headers, ory pipe and magnaflow catback on my car. The car, while not as bad as guys with LM systems, still has rasp issues. Not to mention the clamps tsp gives with it suck, thing leaks all the time. I'm having mine welded up and cats put in it Friday to tone the rasp down some.

Here's how I fixed it... Built a custom Y with the flowmaser 4' Y merge, and added cats. It made my car sound amazing!!! Custom is the way to go...and it's the same price as an off the shelf Y.

Cant comment on other brands but the tsp 17/8 headers and ory i installed fit very well and tucked up quite nice. I did energy suspension poly mounts with the headers and the only thing i wasnt thrilled about was that i needed to trim a little off the k member for the header to clear on the drivers side. 3/16 wide piece maybe 2" long. Paid a muffler shop to cut it out with a sawzall. Also i cut the reduced 23/4 outlet off and used a stainless 3.5-3" transition cone from columbia river mandrel bends. Very nice fitting setup.

I have Pacesetter long tubes, ORY, SLP LM 1, and hate it lol! I saw where someone tried a Flowmaster merge pipe and a Magnaflow 14419 muffler in place of the LM 1, and had good success. I'm going that route I think

Yes dr whigham you were the source for my order from columbia river. Also put a 3" cut out in and then hooked it to my borla adjustable catback. Stainless exhaust system from the heads to the tips ftw
