Air intake? Car runs horrible? I don't get this...
LS1 into 80' vette.
The air filter the shop put on the car did not flow enough air and was collapsing. I could not find a similar sized air filter so bought a bigger K&N filter. I had to add a 90 intake bend after the mass airflow sensor then connected the K&N. The car runs horrible! Does not like to idle or start cold... then on the highway has no power at WOT. I took everything off and tried no air filter or bends just the mass air flow sensor... car ran amazing. Still did not like starting (thinking injector going bad, not confirmed)
Why does this make such a difference? I need to redo this setup but not sure what to do now....
