Default Fast Intakes

Does this thing work? Has anyone seen good dyno numbers?

If it works, where can I get a deal on one?

I'm workin on a 422 and if this thing flows better through the heads I might consider buying it.

Thunder wants around 900. thats quite pricey.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

BEWARE OF THE FAST INTAKE. It is extremely poor quality and should not have been released in its current state. I do not know if it works; part of this POS chipped off into my combustion chamber. My car has now been down for one week. Please do a search before buying this POS.

here in kc we have a few guys trying it....
they seem to be doing better with the intake....
anything that will allow you to get more air into the engine...and then you can add more fuel...means more power...at any level.

UPS is picking up my LSX today to be returned to TR for a credit. I bought it before FAST disclosed that they have only tested it to 10 psi and that it probably would not hold my boost. In fairness to FAST, if I really wanted an LSX, I could epoxy and bake it so that it becomes one piece and would never leak, but it's just not worth it for me.

Fast does make good power in most aplications. I have alot of customers that are happy with it & I have not had to warranty any yet! Let me know & I will give you a good deal on an intake & TB.

Ouch, so far not sounding very promiseing.

The guy building the motor hates porting the LS6 intake and said if this thing works it would save allot of time working of the factory one.

But so far spending 800. on it doesn't look like the way to go.

one guy said he was not happy and another wrote about boost and the intake only holding 10psi. I don't have an opinion yet but i do have a 78mm lsx that will be installed on my car within the next few weeks {waiting for my new heads} then i'll post my results and opinions, hopfully they will be positive. As far as the boost goes a guy from F.A.S.T came in a post and said they have tested the LSX to 25 PSI so i don't know the truth and only time will tell. Also the fact that your building a 422 motor which is probably costing a couple of bucks i would spend the extra $$$ and get the LSX IMHO Anyway good luck with your build up. 422=

With a 422, I'd deffinatly opt for the 90mm LSX intake. From what I have seen, I wouldn't purchase the 90mm FAST TB yet. I'd get one from TPIS, MTI or LG.
