Questions about lq4 with 241 heads..
I've been searching for a little while but I guess I'm just not seeing the results. So please don't flame too much.
I'm looking at picking up a lq4 engine, and ls6 intake.
Now my question is this, What cr would the 241 ls1 heads bring the lq4 up to? Would it be worth it? On Hopefully a 2001+ lq4.
The goal with this motor is to spray a 150shot.
I would do arp 2000 rod bolts, while the pan is off, as well as new rod and main bearings. At that point I'm trying to decide if I should just pull the pistons and do new rings as well.
Or just do the rod bolts and leave the motor alone besides the heads and intake, 42lb injectors, maf, and 2010 camaro stock exhaust manifolds, stock cam, no cats, and straight though mufflers dumping before the axle.
What kind of power would I be looking at with that setup behind th350 at 4,774 feet elevation?

Subscribed for info also. I read that 241's on it aren't bad because the lower flow numbers and made up for in the bump in compression. Is this true, I can't find much about 241's it's always L92 or 243's
Also what about his question on the rings and bearings? Also I read some guy said you have to regime the rods when you do arp bolts... This true or am I being gullible at this point?

My goal is 400whp in Utah's elevation with either a th350-400 and a 3500n2o stall. I want as much of a flat tq curve as I can get off bottle. Not sure on the cam or right setup I'd need for this goal. I plan on at least a 150 shot. I wanna ring out as much as possible out of the stock bottom end. This is the tightest budget build possible. I guess i should add that in there. Thanks for the helpful replies.

Ill probably run a dry and wet shot. Wet for normal use and the dry for when someone makes me pull the main bottle and them not knowing I've got 2 kits on it.
