Long Tube Headers & Gas milage?

Default Long Tube Headers & Gas milage?

I just ordered Kooks long tubes w/cated Y-pipe and wanted to know how this will affect my gas milage? I get about 19mpg now. Just wondering?

Same or better. I have hookers and did not notice a difference in MPG until the cam went in.

I have Jet Hots.... my hwy milage has stayed about the same but I play around more in town so that has gone down some.

With bigger cams, your gas milage will get a little worse.

Depends on how big a cam you go with.

Gas mileage should go up with less restrictsions, but you have to stay out of the throttle.
