If you've only got bolt-ons then TR55s are a good choice. As far as wires go I got a set of OEM LS6 wires, they're red whereas LS1 wires are black. Can't beat OEM for fitment, I've even got long tubes and they are no where near any of the primaries.

I use AcDelco Platinum plugs and MSD wires. They are great. I've run them for three years with all the mods that are in my sig.

I use the NGK Iridium LASER (the longer lasting, thicker center electrode, NGK Iridiums which outlast the copper, V-Power TR55s 3+ to 1) with Moroso Ultra 40 sheathed wires, as I DO NOT love changing plugs out as often as most on here do.

It is a 5 hour, working BLIND (NO lift) 1000 rounds with a wolverine ordeal for me, so the less frequently I must do this, the better!

These are the plugs I would go with next time on my '01 SS (or the Denso equivalent, which I have in my '02 RS), but for the price of free, I went with the TR55s, for obvious reasons.

These guys say some good things about Denso Iridium plugs:

MSD wires on both my RS & SS Camaros...

I highly doubt there's any measurable difference in performance between aftermarket and OEM wires.

I ran AC Delco Platinums in my ws6 and run TR55's in my c5 both with MSD wires and I felt no difference between the two. TSP has a TR55 and MSD wires package deal for pretty cheap. I'd just go for that honestly.

TR55's and MSD wires. If you are looking for a real high quality wire look at the granatelli's w/ the heat sleeves.

There are no performance gains between the MSD's and the granatelli wires. When I had my car dyno'd I did back to back runs with the different wires and saw no difference.

The granatelli's are nice because they have a lifetime warranty.

What are your mods? That'll depend on the plugs you need...as far as wires that just depends on what you want to spend...ie looks, name brands etc, such a short wire not much gains to be had there.

I just installed a set of AC Delco Iridiums and a set of stock wires on my dad's 02. His car only has an intake an exhaust.

My car dont like the tr55 pops up top. Loves the tr6 with a smooth idle but i got a small cam in the motor also.Mostly depends on your tune i have a fairly aggresive tune.

Yes, the Denso Iridium Powers are a slightly better performing/idling plug than the Laser Iridiums (maybe even than the NGK narrow electrode Iridiums as well), BUT they only last ~10K miles more than a set of inexpensive TR-55s.

Like I said, I HATE changing plugs on these cars, and will do ANYTHING to prolong/avoid this, including using the LONGEST lasting plug I can install (even if that means giving up a hair of performance to the others).
