Default which exhaust cant decide at all

I really like the slp lm 2 exhaust. It is one of the more free flowing exhausts out there. Can some guys with lts ory tell me how they like theres. Im gonna do heads and cam soon. I dont want to spend alot on exhaust.also i had a tune when had headers ory and lid. I since added a ls6 intake. If i add exhaust do i need a retune or can i wait until do h/c. I like tsp rumbler also. I heard magnaflow is restrictive and not much better than stock. Any other exhaust u guys like. Thanks

I have the Loudmouth on my heads/cam car. I went to the summer nationals this year at the Thompson Speedway and there wasnt a car there that was noticeably louder. Magnaflow is not restrictive and if you drive your car as a daily the loudmouths are not for you.

No its not restrictive and its 3". You can always get a cut out if you want. Theres really not much of a difference between the lm1 and lm2 both are loud as hell.

Heres mine. The lm2 is probably a tad more quiet.

No it will be fine but I would just do it all at once and save some money. If you want a tame exhaust Hooker or Magnaflow are quiet.

Whomever told you that about Magnaflow is clueless. Magnaflow is the only way to go unless you do a TD set up. IMO the LM stuff sounds like poop.

I had true duals but went to Magnaflow. True duals sound good but are way too loud inside the car. Magnaflow has a tame but very good sound.

I read that somewhere that someone switched from lm to magnaflow and lost like 10 hp probaly a different factor like weather or something. Im going to get a magnaflow and a put a cut out in the I pipe. Which cutout most guys run. So magnaflow should be good for what 10rwhp or so over the stock exhaust I have and sound a little louder.

I'm running a DMH electric cutout with my Magnaflow. Solid piece. Dave at DMH is a great guy.

I had Magnaflow catbacks on both my cars until just this week. The best part was on my stroked Z28, it sounded so nice without being offensively loud. I rode the Hot Rod Power Tour this year with that catback, and I was able to listen to music the whole way without my ears ringing at stops. On my stockish B4C, it is mellow and toned until you get on it. Really I feel this is the best catback for our cars for the dollar out there!

I think in what you looking for Magnaflow is the way to go and for the money its worth it. Me personally I like the Borla 3" catback and i run it with no plate in the back it sounds very good, if you wanted to go a lil quieter you could put a one of the plates that come with it. Just my o2... Good luck with your built and you dont need to tune the car wait till you do the H/C than tune it.

Where to get magnaflow cheapiest. I dont want to buy used. I rather pay the extra 150 and have no issues you know what I mean especially for something like an exhaust.

I dont think much can go wrong buying a used catback. Its a steel pipe. Just make sure its not banged on or cut.

However, if you want new, look at some of the sponsors. They can give you the best prices.

I just bought my Magnaflow catback #16723 from Ryan at RPM, $609 shipped to my door. No issues, installed it today and sounds great, not loud at all but has a good growl when you are rolling into the throttle.

I love my Magnaflow. Its not restrictive at all. When idling its tame, but when you get down in it, sounds awesome!!

I'd want until after you do the H/C, since it'll be noticeably louder.
