Pics of my Hooker catback installed....
Great all around catback! Can't beat the price, performance, and sound. I can't wait until I receive my Kook's LT's and catted Y. The tips looks much better than my prior ugly *** Magnaflow catback. Just thought I would share for the who might be wondering...
P.S. The tips are not touching the bumper.

A friend of mine just installed the Hooker on his otherwise stock 00 WS6. I was really suprised how quiet it was. Even under WOT, it's not very loud, IMO anyway. Does the Hooker system need a "break-in" period like other mufflers do to reach their full potential?
I was almost thinking about going with the Hooker until I heard how quiet it was. I'm just going to stick with the Loudmouth myself.
OTOH... I haven't heard a Hooker system with longtubes and cats. I haven't heard a Loudmouth with longtubes AND cats either, only without - and I don't think it sounded that great.

I had the hooker system on my 98 and liked it. It did get louder as time went on. I purchased it before they went to the SS tips. I had the chrome tips and they ended up rusting pretty bad. For my 2002 I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow system since its stainless....its pretty moist up here in the Northeast.

I just installed the hooker as well, its ok, it is quiet but it seems to get a little louder as it breaks it, HOWEVER NO RASP! It would be perfect for someone how wants a little rumble yet doesnt want to wake the neighbors up in the morning when they leave for work.
I am pretty sure it will sound incredible with LTs and a Y pipe
